KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville police say Thursday a missing man may have been abducted.

Officers responded to 2911 Johnston Street at 8:34 a.m. in response to the reported abduction of Juan Pelipe Hisent, 19.

Hisent's sister told them her brother arrived in Knoxville from Texas about 20 days ago. She said on Thursday morning, a newer model white Chevrolet Suburban pulled up in front of the home.

The woman told officers her brother owed the people money, and he went out with some cash to give them.

Another witness said he saw two men reach out and force Hisent into the Suburban against his will, then leave going northbound on Johnston Street.

Hisent is described as 5'7" with dark hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Hisent's whereabouts should call 911 or the police department's crime information line at 865-215-7212.
