Boys killed in lake electrocution laid to rest

MORRISTOWN (WATE) - Two boys electrocuted in a swimming accident last week were laid to rest Monday morning in Morristown.

Noah Winstead, 10, and Nate Lynam, 11, were climbing a house boat ladder at the German Creek Dock on Cherokee Lake when they were hit by electrical current.

Winstead died at the scene. Lynam died Thursday night at East Tennessee Children's Hospital.

The source of the electrical current is still being investigated.

The boys were laid to rest at Jarnigan Cemetery in Morristown.
