GREENBACK (WATE) - A pedestrian was hit and killed late Tuesday night by a train in the Greenback area.
Officials say the man was on the tracks near the intersection of Morganton Road and Railway Drive.
His body was found 75 yards down the tracks.
Police say they are not sure why he was on the tracks. The investigation continues.
