ROGERSVILLE (WATE) - A Church Hill man was arrested Monday after four alleged meth labs were found on his property.

Hawkins County sheriff's deputies say Melvin Oliver Skelton, 36,  denied knowing anything about the making of methamphetamine on his property on Lynch Road.

After he gave permission for the deputies to search the property they found four labs and the equipment to make methamphetamine.

Skelton is charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is being held without bond in the Hawkins County Jail.
