WINFIELD (WATE) - A man accused of distributing around 100 pounds of crystal meth in Scott County over the last four years is in custody.
A federal grand jury indicted Robert A. Tilley, 47, of Winfield, Tuesday on counts of meth distribution, meth possession and firearms possession.
Tilley turned himself in to the sheriff's office and the Drug Enforcement Administration Thursday morning.
Tilley's girlfriend, Lisa A. Stephens, 43, is charged with felony possession of meth and marijuana for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia and firearms possession.
The sheriff's office has been investigating Tilley since 2009. He's suspected of being involved in the distribution scheme since 2008.
The sheriff's office says this case represents the biggest meth bust in Scott County history with drugs and cash confiscated from Tilley's home.
