BEAN STATION (WATE) - A man who was on the run from Colorado FBI agents for almost two years was arrested by the Grainger County Sheriff and deputies on Thursday.
Sheriff Scott Layel said deputies set up surveillance on a home on Howerton Circle in Bean Station, where they believe Simon Rodriguez Garcia, 24, was hiding out.
After determining that the suspect was in the home, he was arrested and taken to the Grainger County Detention Center.
Garcia is being held without bond and will soon be extradicted back to Colorado.
Sheriff Layel said the man had been living in the area under a false name for almost two years.
