KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville police arrested three people in connection with the robbery of an Arby's restaurant.

Officials say it happened around 4:30 p.m. at the Arby's at 2819 Chapman Highway. Witnesses say a man walked up to the register, demanded money and pointed a gun at the cashier. Police say after getting the money, the suspect ran out of the restaurant on foot before getting into a vehicle with another man.

Police later found Bobby Dwayne Wallen, 37, of Knoxville, and Timothy Roger Gannon, 27, of Strawberry Plains, on Magnolia Avenue, after one of the men matched the description given by Arby's employees.

Both men and another woman they were with were taken into custody. Wallen and Gannon face aggravated robbery charges. Both are being held at the Knox County Jail on $25,000 bonds.
