The Tennessee Department of Transportation said Monday that the loads will move through McMinn and Bradley counties at 10-15 miles per hour, taking up both southbound lanes of I-75.

The first load will be moved Monday, beginning at 8 p.m. and lasting until around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Another load will follow the same route overnight Wednesday and a third load will follow overnight on Aug. 6.

The stretch of I-75 affected will be between the exits for Athens and Calhoun.

Up to date information will be posted online at www.tn.gov/tdot/tdotsmartway . Motorists can also call 511.

TDOT will also pass along information on its multiple Twitter feeds.
