BEAN STATION (WATE) - A Rogersville man is facing charges after he allegedly pointed a gun at a juvenile's face and fired five rounds into a home.

Grainger County deputies say George "Stevie" Atkins, 55, went to a Rock Haven Road home in Bean Station and demanded to see one of the residents.

Atkins is accused of pointing his .22-calibre rifle in the juvenile's face.

The juvenile ran inside the house.

Investigators say Atkins opened fire, shooting five rounds into the home.

Five people were in the home at the time of the shooting, but no one was hurt.

Deputies arrested Atkins a short time later.

He is being held in the Grainger County Detention Center on a $13,000 bound and faces a long list of charges, including driving under the influence and five counts of felony aggravated assault.
