OCALA, Fla. (WATE) - Seven members of two Campbell County families traveling to Disney World were injured Wednesday in a crash on Interstate 75 in Florida.

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol said the left rear tire blew as the Lincoln Town Car was going southbound in the center lane about a mile south of the County Road 326 exit.

The driver lost control. FHP says the car spun counterclockwise and rolled over at least three times on the right shoulder.

It wound up on its tires in the grass next to the interstate.

Five of the seven were taken to Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville with non-life-threatening injures, according to FHP.

The other two people, including the driver, were taken to Munroe Regional Medical Center, also with non-life-threatening injuries.

Among the seven were two women, two children believed to be younger than 10, and three teens ranging in age from 13 to 17.
