KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Former Tennessee basketball coach Bruce Pearl is coming to a television screen near you.
ESPN has hired Pearl and former Virginia Teach head coach Seth Greenberg as college basketball analysts for the upcoming season.
Pearl coached at Tennessee for six seasons, but was fired in March 2011 after a lengthy NCAA investigation. He was handed a 3-year show cause order, which effectively prevents him from coaching at the Div. I level until 2014.
Pearl isn't inexperienced when it comes to broadcast work. He co-hosted a college basketball show on Sirius/XM Radio last season.
