KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville-based Marble City Brewing Company, LLC, has settled a lawsuit with a New Mexico brewery over its name and trademark.
Due to Marble Brewery's registered federal trademark, Marble City agreed to change its name and not use the word "Marble."
Marble City is now known as Saw Works Brewing Company, LLC.
A press release says neither company supports any efforts to boycott or defame the other.
Marble Brewery is based in Albuquerque.
