GREENEVILLE (WATE) - A federal grand jury in Greeneville on June 12 returned a three count indictment against 15 people accused in a conspiracy to distribute drugs in East Tennessee.
The drugs include oxycodone, cocaine and marijuana, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Investigators say the defendants were getting oxycodone from pain clinics in Georgia and Florida and bringing them back to Tennessee to distribute.
The defendants charged with conspiracy to distribute and to possess with the intent to distribute oxycodone include:

- Jackie D. Dykes, aka Darlene Dykes, 48, of Rogersville
- Michael L. Dykes, 50, of Rogersville
- Lorne L. Loucel, 32, of Rogersville
- Lisa A. Crawford, 37, of Rogersville
- Virginia D. Light, aka. Ginger Light, aka. Ginger Stone, 49, of Rogersville
- Asa Kermit M. Calhoun, aka Kermit Calhoun, 33, of Rogersville
- Steve A. Gooch, 29, of Rogersville
- Jonathan L. Light, 24, of Kingsport
- Jeremy R. Light, 28, of Rogersville
- Michael B. Dykes, aka Brandon Dykes, 30, of Rogersville
- Daniel L. Dykes, 29, of Rogersville
- Christy D. Dykes, 32, of Rogersville
- Levi D. Love, 24, of Kingsport
- Shandeeda M. Compton, aka Shandeeda Pauley, 31, of Rogersville
James Light is also charged with conspiracy to distribute and to possess with the intent to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine.
Michael L. Dykes, Jackie D. Dykes, and Daniel L. Dykes are also charged with conspiracy to distribute and to possess with the intent to distribute more than 100 kilograms of marijuana.
Fourteen of the defendants were in court on June 27, and one appeared in court on August 2 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Dennis H. Inman.
All pleaded not guilty to their charges. The trial date will be set at a hearing on August 9.
If convicted, all face a maximum of 20 years in prison, a maximum fine of $1,000,000 and at least three years of supervised release for the oxycodone conspiracy.
James Light faces a mandatory 10-year term, a maximum $10,000,000 fine and at least five years of supervised release for the cocaine conspiracy.
Michael L. Dykes, Jackie D. Dykes, and Daniel L. Dykes face five years in prison, a maximum $5,000,000 fine and at least four years of supervised release.
The U.S. Attorney's Office said all the defendants also face mandatory court assessments.
