LAKE CITY (WATE) - Tennessee Department of Transportation crews repaired a sinkhole Wednesday on Interstate 75 in Anderson County.

The sinkhole opened up in a southbound lane of the highway at mile marker 126, near the Lake City exit.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper discovered the hole around 2:00 Tuesday afternoon and was able to divert traffic until a repair crew could be sent to the location.
