SPEEDWELL (WATE) - A Claiborne County teen is still in need of a kidney transplant, and now some friends are trying to raise money for her medical expenses.

Mackenzie Wagner, 19, is on the waiting list for a new kidney.

Her friends are selling raffle tickets for a set of rocking chairs from Cracker Barrel. The winner has the option of having the chairs painted in Tennessee or Kentucky colors.

Each raffle ticket costs one dollar. The drawing will be on September 28 at Claiborne County Hospital.

Mackenzie will do the drawing if she's feeling well enough.

For more information or to buy a ticket, call (423) 526-2327.

MacKenzie received a kidney transplant from her mom when MacKenzie was 11, but she learned last summer the transplanted kidney was failing.

She was put on the transplant list in September.
