SWEETWATER (WATE) - Two men are facing charges in Monroe County after sheriff's officers responded Monday night to a call about shots fired near several adults and a juvenile.
The altercation was reported at Old Highway 68 near Randolf Fridley Road at 6:17 p.m.
Madisonville police stopped a vehicle matching the description of the suspects' on Old Highway 68 near their city limits.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office filed charges against the two men inside the vehicle. Edward Crabtree is charged with reckless endangerment. Daniel Niezgoda is charged with aggravated assault.
Both men were taken to the Monroe County Jail.
No one was injured in the incident.
