Mosquito spraying continues in Knox County neighborhoods

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knox County Health Department crews will be spraying several neighborhoods Thursday and Sunday to help control mosquitoes carrying West Nile Virus.

Mosquitoes with the virus were found in the area in July.

The spraying schedule will be from 9:00 p.m. to midnight, weather permitting, in the following areas.

Signs will be erected to alert residents, who are asked to stay inside during spraying and to keep pets inside or in the back yard.
