KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A woman driving on a Knox County road was injured Thursday when a tree fell into her car.
Sheriff's deputies say the woman was driving eastbound on Brown Gap Road in North Knox County shortly before 7:00 p.m. when the tree fell.
The 33-year-old woman was hurt when the top half of a rotted tree landed on her Ford Mustang and crashed through her windshield.
Authorities have not yet provided the identity of the woman. She was transported to UT Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
