SEYMOUR (WATE) - A fast food restaurant in Seymour was robbed Saturday morning.
Sevier County sheriff's deputies investigating the robbery that happened at 9:49 a.m. at Subway, 10631 Chapman Hwy.
They are seeking suspect described as a white male in his 20s, between 5'6 to5'9" tall with a slim build. He was wearing a dark blue or black hoody with a blue bandana covering his face. He wore blue jean cargo shorts and white and black quarter-high top basketball shoes.
Witnesses say the suspect carried a silver semi-automatic pistol. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash and he left through a side door.
He may have made his getaway in a dark-colored SUV or pickup truck.
