LOUDON (WATE) - Sheriff's officers arrested a Loudon County man on August 10 when they busted an indoor and outdoor marijuana growing operation.

The narcotics unit had been investigating Bradley Scott Heater, 44, of Loudon, for two months, according to Sheriff Tim Guider.

During a search of Heater's home on Vonore Road, investigators said they found approximately 70 marijuana plants in the overgrown back yard.

They also found equipment in the house for growing marijuana indoors, along with approximately three and a half pounds of marijuana.

Investigators collected the plants and all other evidence from the property and arrested Heater.

He's charged with manufacturing marijuana, felony drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana for resale, maintaining a dwelling for unlawful activity and two counts of unlawful possession of a shotgun.

Heater is being held in the Loudon County Jail on a $63,000 bond.
