PINEVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Two people involved with the Bell County Fair and Exhibition Board have pleaded guilty to diverting charitable gaming funds for their financial benefit.

Juanita and Jesse Hall entered the pleas Thursday in Bell Circuit Court. The Daily News reported that prosecutors recommended suspended 5-year prison sentences for both and mandatory restitution to the board.

Prosecutors say the two owe $77,741 to the board. The two surrendered property worth $29,900 in Bell County to settle part of the restitution debt.

Both defendants agreed to a lifetime prohibition from charitable gaming.
