PIGEON FORGE (WATE) - A 61-year-old Virginia woman is killed after being struck by a car as she was trying to cross Highway 441.
The Pigeon Forge Police Department says it happened around 11 p.m. Friday at 2875 Parkway.
The woman's name has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
No charges have been filed, but officials say the investigation is ongoing.
