SEVIERVILLE (WATE) - A Cosby man was killed early Tuesday morning when his car left the road and hit a tree in Sevier County.
Jimmy E. Dixon, 51, was going westbound on U.S. Highway 321 when his car ran off the right side of the road around 5:30 a.m., according to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report.
The report says Dixon overcorrected, crossed the eastbound lane, spun around and hit a tree on the passenger's side.
Dixon wasn't wearing a seat belt.
