KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night when he collided with a truck in West Knox County.
The crash happened just after 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Bob Gray Road and Lovell Road.
Brian Burns, 27, was riding his 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle in the eastbound lane of Lovell Road. He crashed into the side of a Dodge Ram pickup truck going westbound.
The driver of the truck, Michael Brown, 66, was not injured.
Neighbors in the area said the site of the crash is notorious for accidents.
The Knox County Sheriff's Office said Burns was wearing a helmet. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
