SEVIERVILLE (WATE) - A young child was seriously injured Tuesday after a car hit her in a Sevierville driveway.
Officials said children were playing in a driveway at a residence at Ogle Place Apartments, 110 Mary Lee Highway, when the incident occurred.
An unoccupied, parked car came out of gear, striking a three-year-old girl.
The injured child was transported to Leconte Medical Center.
The extent of her injuries is unknown.
