KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The medical examiner has released autopsy results for a mother and daughter who were murdered earlier this year in West Knox County.

Jorge Alberto Molina-Rivera is charged with strangling his girlfriend, Nolvia Aguilera, 25, and her daughter, three-year-old Allison Aguilera, this past Easter.

Autopsy results for both victims confirm each died from strangulation.

According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office report, Molina-Rivera got into an argument with Aguilera.

He then allegedly drove her and the child to a construction site where he worked, strangled them, and even cut his own arms and neck.

Molina-Rivera faces two counts of first degree murder. His trial is scheduled for April 8, 2013.
