RUTLEDGE (WATE) - Grainger County sheriff's deputies arrested a Rutledge man Sunday as part of an on-going effort to fight drugs.
Danny Joe Gray, 43, of Jackson Road, was arrested for maunfacturing of methamphetamine in his home.
Deputies report finding meth-making equipment and a bags of what appeared to be two grams of the finished meth product.
Gray is being held at the Grainger County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
Grainger County Sheriff Scott Layel says nearly 1,500 narcotics-related charges have been filed in the last two years during operations called Take Back Grainger and Operation Grainger Strike.
