BLAINE (WATE) - Three people were arrested on meth making charges in Blaine on August 23.
Grainger County sheriff's deputies responded in the early morning hours to a report of a suspicious gray car near 2000 Stone Road.
The sheriff's office said the deputies saw a broken glass jar with white residue and noticed a chemical odor coming from the car.
An investigation found pseudoephedrine pill packages in the floorboard along with lithium batteries, muriatic acid and finished meth. The deputies took two women and a man who were at the scene into custody.
Brittany Danielle Faulkner, 22 of Blaine, and Brittany Nicole Roberts, 23, of Corryton, are each charged initiation of manufacture of meth. They're being held in the Grainger County Jail on bonds of $50,000 each.
Joshua Shaun Ramsey, 37, of Blaine, is charged with initiation of manufacture of meth, felony possession of Schedule II and Schedule IV drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to appear on a prior charge. He's being held on a $56,500 bond.
They're scheduled to be arraigned on August 28.
