KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Knoxville teen girl is recovering after she was stabbed Tuesday night at a home in the Western Heights neighborhood.
The stabbing happened on Jourolman Avenue just before 8 p.m.
Knoxville police said an 18-year-old girl stabbed a 17-year-old girl during a fight over a boy.
The 17-year-old received multiple wounds and was taken to UT Medical Center for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
Officials said no charges will be filed in the case because the victim does not want to prosecute. No names were released due to the ages of those involved.
