KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A woman who pleaded guilty to drug charges in connection with the death of a Knoxville blogger's son won't have a chance to get her record wiped clean.

Laurie Pelot Gooch pleaded guilty in April to selling oxycodone. A judge denied Gooch's judicial diversion request on Friday.

Gooch along with three others, Yolanda Meza Harper, Randall Ray Houser and Kasie Westmoreland Robinson were all charged with drug offenses related to the Henry Granju death case in September 2011.

Gooch is the daughter of former Knoxville City Councilwoman Barbara Pelot. She has a daughter who was dating Granju, the son of blogger Katie Allison Granju, when he died.

The judge placed Gooch on four years probation on both counts of her guilty plea.
