KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Drivers and pedestrians should remember there are several road closures this weekend as part of Boomsday activities.
Road Closures:
Saturday, September 1:
2 p.m. - Neyland Drive from Lake Loudoun Boulevard to Walnut Street will be closed.
Sunday, September 2:
3 p.m. — The exit from James White Parkway to Cumberland Avenue; Central Street at Main Street.
4 p.m. — Locust Street at Front Avenue; the ramp from Hall of Fame Drive to Neyland Drive.
9 p.m. — The Gay Street Bridge closes to
pedestrians (and to vehicles at 9:15 p.m.); Poplar Street at Main;
Henley at W. Hill Avenue.
