SEVIERVILLE (WATE) - Authorities are looking for a Sevier County woman who went missing on Friday, August 31.

Laurel Denise Holmes, 55, went for a walk Friday morning and never returned.

The sheriff's office said she has a history of nervous breakdowns and suicide attempts.

Holmes is described as 5'5" and about 170 pounds with brown eyes and salt and pepper hair.

She has scars on both inner elbows and knees from suicide attempts, the sheriff's office said.
