Police identify suspect in Knoxville bank robbery

Knoxville KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Federal authorities are searching for a suspect in a Thursday afternoon bank robbery.

The suspect is identified as 29-year-old Jonathan Key of Knoxville.

An FBI release states the suspect entered the Knoxville Post Office Credit Union at 4948 Clinton Hwy. around 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Officials say the suspect handed a bank teller a note, indicating he had a weapon, and demanding money.

The suspect then fled with an unknown amount of money.
