KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A woman was arrested for DUI Friday morning after she was found passed out in an SUV at an elementary school in West Knox County.
Sheriff's officers were called to A.L. Lotts Elementary School shortly after 7:00 a.m. about an abandoned grey Lexus RX350 in the student drop off zone.
Jessica Marie Morris, 27, was found passed out in the SUV.
When she woke up, the sheriff's office said Morris couldn't tell officers how she wound up in the school parking lot.
The officers said Morris apparently drove over a curb, causing the blow out of two tires. The Lexus couldn't be driven.
Morris failed a field sobriety test, according to the sheriff's office. She was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.
