EVARTS, Ky. (WATE) - An Evarts man was arrested Tuesday for the murder of a man found dead in his home four days earlier.
Robert E. Curry, 39, is charged with the murder of Bruce M. Penix, 47, of Kildav.
Harlan County sheriff's officers found Penix in his home on September 6. An autopsy found that he suffered blunt force trauma to the head.
The sheriff's office has not described any connection between the men or the motive for the slaying.
