KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A woman was struck by a woman Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 640 near Wilson Road.
A Knoxville Police Department report say 27-year-old Michael Davis was traveling westbound on I-640 when he struck the female pedestrian walking across the roadway.
The report identifies that woman as 20-year-old Natasha Hill of Knoxville. Hill had crossed the interstate to pick up an item that had flown from her vehicle.
As she crossed the interstate lanes, Davis struck her in his 2003 Infiniti.
Hill was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for her injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening. The report states no criminal charges will be filed.
