GATLINBURG (WATE) - The Spur, a section of southbound U.S. 441 in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, will be reduced to one lane next week.

Work by the Sevier County Utility District is scheduled near Husky Grove Road.

The park service says traffic will be affected from 8:00 a.m. Monday, September 17 until noon on Friday, September 28.

The utility may make repairs to a main gas line that feeds the city of Gatlinburg.

The closure will be in place 24 hours a day, but it's subject to change based on weather and work conditions.
