CLINTON (WATE) - A former Clinton police officer pleaded guilty on September 4 to drug possession and statutory rape.

Randall A. Chisum, Jr., 30, was given a three-year sentence, but he'll serve just 150 days in jail with the rest on supervised probation.

Chisum is also ordered not to have contact with the victim or any female under 18 years old.

The mother of a 17-year-old girl came to the Clinton Police Department in May 2011 saying her daughter had been communicating with Chisum by phone and computer. He was charged with aggravated statutory rape.

Six months later, he was charged with drug possession.
