KNOXVILLE (WATE) - On the eve of the UT-Florida game, friends and family remember the life of a UT fan who fell to his death during the Vols season opener at the Georgia Dome.

People gathered at the Torch Bearer Friday night near UT's Circle Park and held a candle light vigil for 20-year-old Isaac Grubb of Lenoir City.

Isaac's parents Frank and Joy Grubb also attended and said they were extremely thankful for the community's support.

"This was amazing for a group of kids to come together that really didn't know Isaac, but to honor him. Isaac never met a stranger. Isaac loved everybody he met," said Joy Grubb. "This just kind of reflects his life, that people that are strangers who didn't know him would come together to celebrate his life."

Isaac was a student at Pellissippi State Community College.
