KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The excitement for Saturday's big game against Florida has been building all week.

Many fans traveled to Knoxville Friday in preparation for the game, and several areas of town have seen an influx of people.

We stopped by Market Square downtown, and also on the Strip near UT's campus to see if all these fans are spending money.

At Rita's Italian Ice on Market Square the line was almost out the door. Nancy Langkamer, the owner, say they are expecting even bigger crowds Saturday.

"We are anticipating a real good day tomorrow," said Langkamer, "Especially with it being a later game, people will come downtown."

Over on the Cumberland Strip, Niros Gyros was busy as well.

"We've already seen a lot of business," said Niros Gyros owner Emad Aljaber. "We have a lot of excitement in here. We just happy, hopefully we win and get more and more business."

Fans we spoke with say the excitement for Saturday's game is causing them to spend more money.

"We just got back from Party City and Wal-mart getting a whole bunch of orange stuff," said UT senior Nicole Osoria.

Along with spending money, the only thing most people are thinking about is UT crushing the Gators.

"I think it's going to be 28-24 Vols," said UT senior Bhauika Patel.

"Tomorrow's game I think will be close," said Langkamer. "I think we will put it out, maybe by 3, how about 24-21."

The business owners we spoke with say when the Vols win people are happy, and that means they will spend even more money.

If they lose fans usually just go home after the game.

Many fans we spoke say they feel this excitement is going to continue to build, and help the team pull off a victory Saturday.
