KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Knoxville woman was charged Friday with the first degree murder of a man who was shot outside of an East Knoxville club on Sept. 2.
Shasta Helen Jackson, 26, of the 6000 block on Sam Tillery Road, was placed into custody on Friday, according to the Knoxville Police Department.
The victim, Esley D. Clemons, was shot at Rock's Grand Lounge located on the 2000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
Jackson is being held on a $500,000 bond in the Knox County Detention Facility.
