MARYVILLE (WATE) - Officers arrested two men Monday night after the discovery of a meth lab at a Blount County residence.
Investigators with the Fifth Judicial Drug Task Force were called to a residence on Reservoir Road in Maryville around 11:00 p.m. due to a possible meth lab.
The Blount County Sheriff's Office says investigators found components of a one pot method meth lab, along with a small amount of meth.
Jimmy Lee Harrison, 28, of Madisonville, and James Stanton Kouma, 26, of Sweetwater, and another person at the home were decontaminated, and the house was quarantined.
Harrison and Kouma are each charged with initiating the process of making
meth.
The Tennessee Methamphetamine Task Force disposed of the hazardous waste.
The men are being held on bonds of $50,000 each. They're scheduled for court hearings on September 19.
