SEYMOUR (WATE) - The arrangements are made for Courteney Joe Kaliszewski, 16, of Seymour, who died Sunday when she was riding in a church van that was hit head-on in Sevier County.
Kaliszewski was a junior at Seymour High School and was very involved in the Cedar Grove Baptist Church youth group. That group was on their way back from a retreat in Gatlinburg when their van was hit on Chapman Highway.
Kaliszewski's family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour at 122 Peacock Court.
The funeral service is Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Atchley's Seymour Chapel and the burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
