DANDRIDGE (WATE) - Officers in Jefferson County caught a man Saturday who turned out to be a murder suspect in California.
Taylor Michael Henthorne, 20, of Lathrop, Calif., was allegedly speeding on State Highway 341.
A state trooper and a White Pine police officer arrested Henthorne after he fled an attempted traffic stop, crashed trying to turn onto State Highway 113 and tried to run from the scene.
Henthorne was wanted on a felony murder charge in San Joaquin County, California.
He's charged in Jefferson County with driving under the influence, resisting arrest, evading arrest, reckless driving, speeding, failure to show due care and financial responsibility.
Henthorne is being held in the Jefferson County Jail without bond, while awaiting extradition to California.
