KNOXVILLE (WATE) - An investigation led the sheriff's office narcotics unit to a bust of nearly 90 pounds of marijuana Tuesday night in North Knox County.
Officers searched 8647 Pedigo Road, the home of Sergio Castaneda, 52.
They confiscated 89.7 pounds of marijuana, $13,541 in cash, and a SKS semi automatic assault rifle.
Kinte, a K-9 in the unit, aided officers by alerting on areas they needed to search.
Castaneda is charged with sale and delivery of marijuana.
He was booked into the Knox County Detention Facility on a $50,000 bond.
