GATLINBURG (WATE) - Work on a section of U.S. 441 known as the Spur in Great Smoky Mountains National Park is wrapping up early.
Repairs to a gas line that feeds Gatlinburg on U.S. 441 near Husky Grove Road were expected to take a week.
However, park officials say they expect to have the road fully reopen Thursday evening.
They credit good weather and efficient work by the Sevier County Utility District.
