KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Knox County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a man suspected in a shooting on Tuesday.
Ronnie Harshaw, 36, is a suspect in the shooting that happened Tuesday around 4:30 a.m. at Bakertown Apartments.
According to witnesses, Harshaw and two other men knocked on the front door and windows, and then fired two rounds. One round went through the front window. Another hit a wall in the apartment.
Several adults and children were in the apartment at the time.
Kayla Thompson, 19, was hit by bullet fragments and taken to UT Medical Center with non -life threatening injuries.
Harshaw is described as 5'11", about 185-195 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He also has many tattoos and the sheriff's office said most are gang affiliated.
Harshaw has a criminal history of domestic assault and has served time in the state penitentiary for robbery and aggravated assault. He's considered armed and dangerous.
