MADISONVILLE (WATE) - The sheriff's office says a Monroe County teen whose body was found in Vonore was electrocuted.

Evidence found at the scene shows Tucker Wells, 18, deliberately cut into a pipe attached to a power pole on the edge of his property. The pole encased high voltage electrical wires that electrocuted him.

Wells was last seen the night of September 11, but he wasn't reported missing until September 18.

Crews from Fort Loudon Electric responded to the scene and helped remove portions of the power line wiring that were damaged.

The sheriff's office said the final autopsy reports are not yet complete.
