TAZEWELL (WATE) - Authorities said Tuesday an autistic Claiborne County man was found safe.
Brandon Brewer, 23, had gone missing from his Tazewell home on September 21.
Officers received a tip on Bailey Hollow Road just outside the Tazewell city limits where they found Brewer just off the roadway. He had lost his shoes and glasses and had been out in the elements since he went missing.
Brewer had minor scratches and bruises and was taken to Claiborne County Hospital for treatment.
Officials said he's in good spirits and doing well.
They also thanked all the volunteers who helped with the search and the other agencies that offered assistance.
