MTSU, Roane State to allow dual enrollment

KNOXVILLE, (AP) - Officials from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro and Roane State Community College in Harriman will announce an agreement that will allow students to be dual enrolled.

MTSU President Sidney McPhee and Roane State President Gary Goff will sign the agreement on Wednesday in Knoxville. The agreement will allow qualified students to have a structured guaranteed plan to progress from an associate's degree program at Roane State directly to a bachelor's degree program at MTSU.

MTSU is also hosting a reception Wednesday evening at the Knoxville Museum of Art for prospective students in the Knoxville area.
